Conversation Only
This is a conversation-only course. Grammar is not taught as such although the teacher will, of course, correct grammatical mistakes as and when they occur. Obviously, the main aim of the program is to encourage students to talk as much as possible. This is done by setting up simulations, role plays, pair work, group discussions on topics of interest, and debating.
The teacher’s role is often purely as facilitator or monitor. The students are required to think creatively and express opinions clearly.
By the end of the course, it is hoped that students will be able to speak more confidently, spontaneously, and accurately in English on a variety of topics.
Admission Requirements
Students who wish to enroll in the Conversation Only class are generally required to have a minimum to be at the Intermediate level.
Certificate
Upon completion of the course, students will receive their Conversation certificate.
Teachers
All teachers have a Bachelors's degree and a TEFL certificate plus extensive teaching experience.
