Business
The EEC Business courses are for anyone working, who wishes to upgrade his/her skills and job/salary prospects, or adult students who will be entering the world of business at the end of their course of studies. Based on a carefully constructed language syllabus, the course tackles the key functional areas of business interaction, such as:
- Telephoning
- Meetings
- Problem Solving
- Socializing
- Memos
- Reports
- Proposal
- Business letters
- Business vocabulary
- Presentations
The course places special emphasis on skills work, particularly listening and speaking, and is designed to enable students to relate the language they are learning to their own work experience. These tasks will often involve students in role-plays and interactive activities for optimum results.
Format
- Presentations
Key language points are presented in the form of a listening text.
- Language work
This section provides controlled practice of the target language in each unit. Some written exercises are included, but the emphasis is on oral practice.
- Skill works
This section includes a speaking task along with one or more reading, writing, or listening tasks.
Certificate
Upon completion of the course, students will receive their Business certificate.
Material
The EEC Business course uses interesting, modern international books plus supplementary material created by EEC’s own teachers collected from extensive teaching experience in Indonesia.
Teachers
All teachers have a Bachelors's degree and a TEFL certificate plus extensive experience in teaching Business English.
