Children
The
EEC Children's conversation course contains ten levels for elementary school-age children. Students study from an excellent international book as well as a wealth of supplementary material. Children who are learning English for the first time or children who have some English
skills and wish to improve would find this course beneficial.
Aims
The 3 main aims of this course are:
- To help students understand and use some basic
structures of English grammar correctly in a variety of purposeful
communicative activities.
- To help students develop confidence in listening, speaking, reading in English, and using a good basic range of vocabulary.
- To make learning English an enjoyable and meaningful experience through exciting stories, songs, rhymes, games, and puzzles.
Language structures
The
EEC Children’s course is based on graded structures and vocabulary.
Language items have been chosen according to the criteria of frequency,
usefulness and simplicity. Each language item is recycled and reviewed
regularly, systematically developing the students’ motivation and skills
in listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
Certificate
Upon completion of the course, students will receive their International level certificate.
Material
The
EEC Children course uses international books plus supplementary material
created by EEC’s own teachers collected from extensive teaching
experience in Indonesia.
Teachers
All teachers have a Bachelors's degree and a TEFL certificate. They also have experience in teaching English to children.
