SAT® Reasoning
The SAT® Reasoning Test is a measure of the critical thinking skills required to succeed in college. The SAT® has three scores on a scale from 200 to 800. The 3 sections are writing, critical reading, and maths.
The writing section consists of 1 essay to be written in 25 minutes, and a grammar, usage, and choice section to be done in 35 minutes.
The critical reading section has reading comprehension and sentence completion. This section takes 70 minutes.
The mathematics section tests basic number operations, algebra and functions, geometry, statistics, probability, and data analysis. This part takes 70 minutes.
Admission Requirements
Students who wish to enroll in the “EEC PREPARATION COURSE FOR THE SAT® REASONING TEST” are required to sit an EEC placement test or possess a minimum International TOEFL paper-based Test score of 450.
Course materials
The materials for the SAT® Reasoning test consist of the official college board SAT® book, The Kapplan SAT® Guide, and Barron’s Student Choice.
Certificate
Upon completion of the course, you will receive your SAT® Reasoning Test certificate.
Teacher
All teachers have a Bachelors's degree and a TEFL certificate. They also have extensive experience in teaching English at academic levels.
